"What Pokemon was ugly at first as a sprite, but then got saved by the 3D models? And vice versa?"

Simple question. What Pokemon did you see as a sprite and though to be ugly, but then as 3D actually looked good? And what pokemon looked better as a sprite then in 3D? All in your opinion ofcourse :)IMO, I always though Primeape to be pretty ugly back in the time. That was untill I saw him in Pokemon Colloseum in 3D and I thought he looks actually pretty cool.
