"[Idea] Niantic should allow players to "hire" non-player characters to help them complete a legendary raid"
#PokemonGO: We've all heard how difficult it can be for a rural player to successfully complete a legendary raid. When I see a Groudon in the distance, I feel like Niantic is just taunting me.Niantic should allow (desperate) players to spend some of their PokeCoins to get extra help from "Non-Player Characters". The more PokeCoins they spend, the more extra NPCs would be available to assist with the raid. The NPCs could be based on the "ghosts" of real players who have successfully completed a raid against the same Pokemon, and the teams they used. Or based on the real players who currently occupy the gym. Maybe the players who actually "own" the ghosts would receive some PokeCoins in recognition of their virtual participation.Isolated players would finally get a chance to catch legendary PokeMon, and Niantic would get more revenue from PokeCoin sales.I know, they would have to price it carefully, so that it doesn't become "too easy" to defeat a legendary Pokemon. But the current balance is causing rural players to give up on the game entirely.I don't particularly want to pay Niantic lots of real money for a legendary PokeMon, but as long as there are other options (earning PokeCoins through participation, organising raids with real people on Discord) I don't see a problem. via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2FneWot
