"Re-watching Pokémon 2000 and I can't help but think..."

...that it's a step to the right of being a SuMo movie.Think about it; all you'd need to do is changethe three islands into four,the three Titans to the four Guardians,the glass orbs for Tapunium or equivalent,Lugia into Lunaala (moon and tides stuff) andthe companions to be more up-to-date.Keep the same plot and relevant dialogue, warts and all (because Ash burns Rocket amazingly) as well as the same movie-exclusive characters and themes (look at the Shamouti Island festival costumes and tell me they don't look like the Tapus) and you've basically got the same movie.What do you Pokéfans think? Is this a viable train of thought, or have I just been listening to too much prog rock?
