"Buff a Pokemon with a Baby Pre-evolution"
New additions to old evolutionary families are super fun. It can result in some really great designs, or it could mean your favorite Pokemon has better viability in battle. But that's more for evolutions. Baby Pokemon don't bring any new usefulness ingame, really, and certainly not in competitive. Here's a thread to change that. How would you buff something by giving it a baby evolution?Lapras: It's not the best in competitive but both the design and stats aren't suited to it being a pre-evolution. I'd give Lapras a baby form that's just Water. (Maybe Lapras move towards the equator when they have their young, and then the babies evolve when they're older and they can move back to the poles.) This would mean Lapras could get Scald from its pre-evolution, which is a small thing but would help it a lot. Also, this is a general thing for all baby Pokemon: Make Incenses like signature items. Another Bright Powder, or even worse another Mystic Water, is a kind of awful new item to make. Make Incenses more interesting, and have them give them benefits to that evolutionary line! Something like a x1.5 to STAB moves when held by the Pokemon it's meant for. via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2FcHtOy
