"Mourning my Pokemon"

Yesterday my friend's car was broken into, and a bunch of our stuff was stolen... including my 3DS and ALL of my games.The thing that upsets me most about it is that my Pokemon are gone forever. Hours of training, hatching, trading... gone. Pokemon that were given to me by friends and loved ones who are no longer with me... gone. Pokemon that have been with my since LeafGreen... gone.I know that I can eventually buy a new 3DS and games... I know that I can get my friends to help me complete the Pokedexes again... but all of my real treasures and pride and joy are gone. I'm sure anyone outside of the Pokemon community may not quite understand why this is so sad outside of having something expensive stolen...Besides searching for pity and comfort, I guess the "discussion topic" can be "In what way have you guys mourned Pokemon/why" via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/2EmjIyb
