"[Question] With PokéStop submissions coming to the game, we should not forget about who is going to review them."
#PokemonGO: Currently, new submissions are not getting reviewed in my area (west Germany, NRW) and seemingly big parts of Europe, because many players say that they themselves "already have enough portals".I tried my best to convince them to do OPR again (The webpage to rate portal submissions), but almost all of the players became really angry and cynical and they were not in the least bit aware of their responsibility. They just hated everything about rating new submissions. And they hated me for trying to bring this issue up again. As of right now, there are not enough reviewers in my area anymore, even though there used to be. Absolutely nothing gets reviewed anymore here, even though there are tons of new submissions flooding in every day. With PokéStop submissions certainly coming, that is a huge problem. Niantic has to have a new system in place for PokéStop submissions and Pokémon Go players should be able to review them.If Ingress players would have to handle even more submissions from Pokémon Go players, well... it already does not work. But if there would be a new system, would it merge with OPR or would it stand on its own? If it would seperate them, would PokéStops and Portals be seperated as well? And my biggest question: How do you think Niantic should motivate players to rate PokéStop submissions, if they will be able to do so? via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2KmRZBF
