"Niantic, why not run event ticket sales through the in- game shop?"

#PokemonGO: Can someone explain to me why the Go-fest (or other special event sales) could not be run through the shop already present in pokemon go? I realize that when pokecoins are purchased, 30% of the fee goes to the apple or google store the currency is bought from. So raise the price 30%.
