"What are the best first two Pokémon to put in a gym?"

#PokemonGO: Oftentimes I play with my gf, so when we take over gyms there will usually be a period of time (sometimes quite long) where our Pokémon are the only two defending the gym.For regular gym defense (so let's pretend no carving and they are doing regular sweeps), how can we maximize usefulness out of our gym defenders? So far we have been using some combination of a 4.3k Slaking or a 2.7k Blissey (I'm still pretty new) and then she will put in a Dragonite. My thinking being - the first mon should have some sort of resilience / time sink and the second should a) do damage and b) not be weak to what the first one is weak to (so Fighting).I'm curious if there are any other combinations we could use, perhaps some which aren't as intuitive. via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2Km656a
