I'm referring to this this thread.Gamefreak officially stated that core games will come in two supplements for the future, Games like this for the newer crowd and your typical Pokémon game for hardcore fans. The 2019 release is geared for hardcore fans. This is targeted to introduce new players into the franchise adopting some familiarity with the ever successful Pokémon Go.The 2019 game won’t have casualisation because of this game.I cannot be the only Poképroud young adult who loves Pokémon, enjoys batting but can't just enjoy the too easy and childish gameplay. With recent news about Game Freak focusing separately on casuals and hardcore gamers we have a really good reason to be super excited!This also means that Let's Go games are not actually spin-offs as we first might have thought. This is likely to be a new era for us!We might finally get a more mature touch to the Pokémon series.
