"I'm totally in love with this friendship feature!"

#PokemonGO: By now we all know that gifts offer items that are rare from regular pokestop spins. And IMO the most valuable items that I can get from gifts are ultra balls and pinap berries (apart from the Alolan eggs, obviously) because I like to save up for community days.As I'm still shy of level 30, today I got my first access to the friendship feature. I made some friends in couple of hours and opened some gifts sent by them.Now after reaching the daily cap of 20 gifts, my count of ultra balls went from 13 to 78, and number of pinaps went from 4 to 74. As an extremely rural player, I've never collected so many of these at once in my whole playtime of one year! I'm seriously considering a bag upgrade right now :PSo in short, Thank you very much Niantic! You've solved my (and many other rural players') item issues wonderfully. And an even bigger thanks to all my friends. You guys are the best pals in the world!Tl;dr: Got many gifts from friends.
