#PokemonGO: First of all, I would like to say that I'm surprised with all the people that answered just to troll. People that do this, we don't win anything, just keep messing the polls and anyone will do them again. The results are based on +600k Omanyte and Kabuto, and +60k Aerodactyl. We can't know the exact odds from this poll, but the results are really close to what has been studied before. Shiny Kabuto: Of 612534 encounters, 1255 were shiny. It's a probability of 0.20%, or 1/500.Shiny Omanyte: Of 614450 encounters, 1137 were shiny. It's a probability of 0.19%, or 1/550. As has been proved before, the probability of finding a wild shiny is around 1/512. Shiny Aerodactyl: Of 63550 encounters, 1065 were shiny. It's a probability of 1.67%, or 1/60. Aerodactyl is a bit different from what was stimated in Absol and Mawile raids (1/50), the odds seem a little bit lower but we've had 3 different ways of obtaining him, quests, raids and in the wild, so this could explain it. via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2LqGCbu
