"[IDEA] Excellent curve ball badge"

#PokemonGO: All badges in Pokemon Go can be grinded in one way or the other, however, the lack of a "skill" badge is annoying for some of the more hardcore players.Therefore, I would like to suggest a badge that gets rewarded to the number of excellent curveballs you hit. My initial idea is to have the different tiers as follows: 10 (bronze) - 100 (silver) - 500/1000 (gold). However, we all know how difficult/easy it is throw such an excellent curve ball on different pokemon. So if there are like 3 different tiers that depend on the catch circle size, there could be a way to reward that excellent curve on an Exeggcute some extra points. Which is very similar to how Niantic rewards glyph hacking in Ingress for the corresponding Translator badge. Instead if we then have a big catch circle (Wailmer, Regice, etc) reward 1 point, a medium circle (Skitty, Pidgey, etc) 2 points, a small circle (Exeggcute, etc) 5 points, we could choose higher tier levels. Another factor in the difficulty to throw an excellent curve ball is the pokemon distance so whether or not that should be taken into account I am not entirely sure about...I suspect that Niantic has not stored the data of number of excellent curve ball throws from before, so everyone will have to start at 0. However, I think this adds a nice extra challenge for the hardcore players, so I am curious about your opinion.An extra addition would be to display in the pokedex how many of each type of throw you were able to land on a pokemon, but this would likely become a mess over time.. via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2NFA5Me
