#PokemonGO: TL;DR:- Legendaries: Heatran, Dialga, Palkia, maybe Giratina (Origin).- Mythicals: Darkrai, Shaymin.- New base forms to pinap / save: Gible, Cranidos, maybe Starly and of course the starters.- Old (previous generations) base forms to pinap / save: Sneasel, Murkrow, Togepi/Togetic, Ralts, Yanma, Electabuzz, Magnemite, Roselia, Rhyhorn, Swinub, Tangela and of course the starters (except Cyndaquil and Chikorita unless they get sunglasses).Psychic: Azelf will be an Alakazam clone, but legendary, so with more expensive candy. Uninteresting.Dragon: Dialga and Palkia are top-tier legendaries, Garchomp is top-tier non-legendary. Farm Gible.Dark: Waiting for the mythical Darkrai (probably only one per trainer), the glassy but fast Honchkrow and Weavile can probably out-DPS Tyranitar. Farm Sneasel and (LOL) Murkrow.Fairy: If Togekiss or Community Day Gardevoir gets a Fairy fast move, it will be the only good Fairy-type attacker. In doubt, farm Togepi/Togetic and Ralts.Ghost: Nothing new, unless Giratina (legendary) is released in Origin Forme. The "regular" (Altered) Giratina is just a Dragon/Ghost Lugia.Fighting: Gallade is not going to outclass Machamp (no Counter, no Dynamic Punch).Flying: Yanmega is likely to be stuck with Aerial Ace, maybe Sky Attack Staraptor can be a decent glass cannon but still inferior to Rayquaza. Also Honchkrow. And if Togekiss gets Air Slash and Sky Attack it can be competitive too. In doubt, keep an eye on Starly and anyway farm Yanma, Togepi/Togetic and (LOL) Murkrow because of their primary types.Electric: If Electivire and Magnezone get Wild Charge, they can be cheap alternatives to Raikou, in particular Electivire can be slightly faster (but much less tanky) and Magnezone will have the same DPS but Steel typing can give it more TDO in several matchups. Farm Electabuzz and Magnemite.Poison: Roserade (Gen4) will be a Jolteon-like glass cannon but there is nothing better until Gen7. Farm Roselia.Bug: Yanmega can be a slight upgrade to Pinsir and Scizor, waiting to be outclassed by Volcarona (Gen5). Farm Yanma.Rock: If they get a double-Rock moveset with Rock Slide, both Rhyperior and Rampardos will outclass Tyranitar. Rhyperior can get the same DPS but better TDO, Rampardos will be quite glassy but king of DPS. Farm Rhyhorn and Cranidos.Fire: While Magmortar will basically be just another Flareon, legendary Heatran will be a straight upgrade on Moltres/Entei (if it gets a good moveset). Get a good Groudon team to defeat Heatran, meanwhile farm Torchic for a 2019 Community Day.Water: Kyogre can only be outclassed by Kyogre itself. The best non-legendary option will probably be a Hydro Cannon Feraligatr or Swampert. Farm Totodile and Mudkip for their Community Days.Steel: Dialga (legendary) with any double-Steel move will outclass everything we have now. Heatran will probably be good too. Keep your Machamp army fit and buff your Groudon.Ground: Groudon can only be outclassed by Groudon itself. Decent non-legendary alternatives, if they get double-Ground movesets, are Rhyperior, Garchomp and Mamoswine. Not specifically for Ground, farming Rhyhorn, Gible and Swinub is always a good idea.Grass: Tangrowth and Roserade will probably join both Exeggutors, Sceptile and Frenzy Venusaur in the Grass top tier. Also mythical Shaymin (probably 1 per trainer) can be good. Farm Tangela and Roselia, and Treecko for a 2019 Community Day.Ice: Mamoswine will outclass the current poor Ice attackers we have now.
