"A way to get legacy moves inspired by Yokosuka's Special Research"

#PokemonGO: I was looking at the Special Research tasks for the Yokosuka Safari Zone event and it gave me idea that I've yet to hear when it comes to receiving Legacy moves for Pokemon weather or not they are from Community Days. It would be a monthly task given on the first login during the month with tasks similar to how Yokosuka's is but built around a specific Pokemon. Upon completing the task you are rewarded Stardust, candy belonging to the species of the Pokemon the research is for and the Pokemon that knows the Legacy move (or a Legacy TM instead). Some examples: I'm going to keep them away from gym related activity so as to not leave out players who did not join a team.Smack Down Tyranitar:Capture 50 Rock type PokemonCapture 50 Ground type PokemonCapture 50 Dark type PokemonHatch 15 EggsSpin 30 PokestopsReward: 20K Stardust, 30 Larvitar Candy and Smack Down TMFrenzy Plant Venusaur:Capture 50 Grass type PokemonCapture 50 Poison type PokemonCapture 50 Pokemon weather Boosted by Sunny or Cloudy weatherWalk 30 KMs with your buddyPower up 6 Grass or Poison types 5 times eachRewards: 30K Stardust, 30 Bulbasaur Candy and Frenzy Plant TMShadow Claw Gengar:Capture 50 Ghost type PokemonCapture 50 Poison type PokemonUse 100 Candies to power up Ghost or Poison type PokemonCapture 50 Pokemon with the use of Pinap BerriesSend 25 gifts to friendsRewards: 20K Stardust, 50 Gastly Candy and Shadow Claw TMAll numbers given are just placeholders and would theoretically be based off of general rarity of the Pokemon's typeThis being a monthly Special Research I would expect a cap of maybe 3-5 can be carried at a time and if below the cap you can only claim a new one after finishing your second task on a previously obtained Research. Please, I would like to hear thoughts and constructive criticism on this.EDIT: I changed the reward to the more popular, and reasonable, one. A TM that can be used to teach the move to a Pokemon of that species. We all hate it when you get that 90%+ then a CD for that specific Pokemon gets announced, so as a way to alleviate that stress you may be able to use a Legacy TM that is worked for. via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2LzFaTT
