"[Complaint] Niantic, please consider moving community day times earlier or later in the day for states dealing with high heat indexes."

#PokemonGO: Today in Louisiana, we had to deal with some pretty bad temperatures. Lots of people in our local group chose not to attend community day today because of the heat.I consider myself lucky to be to live in a city where our most concentrated area of pokestops has about 5 gyms and 25 pokestops, but that entire area has no shade. This is where most people go for community day, and it's right in the middle of our downtown area. A trainer that made it out today suffered from heat stroke, despite drinking water throughout the entire community day. This isn't just about health, either. Have you ever tried catching a registeel when your phone is thermal throttling itself? The frame rate drops to less than 10fps, I swear. Random lag spikes and inconsistencies make it discouraging for new trainers trying to catch legendaries for the pokedex.I'm sure many people from Texas, Arizona, and Florida would agree with me in asking Niantic to please consider moving community day to the morning before it gets hot, or in the evening so we don't have to deal with the sun. Just make it so that it isn't in the hottest part of the day.. via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2OwsVJA
