"Pokémon memory: the Pidgey god"

I just remembered an incident that happened almost 10 years ago, when I was in elementary school.Pokémon frenzy was in full swing- whoever had Rayquaza Lv. X was the most popular kid in recess. None of us knew how to play the card game, but we traded and “battled” all the same.One day, a kid with no prior collection brings to school a single card: Pidgey, in the old-school style of the base set. We initially waved it off as a worthless throwaway, but upon closer inspection:HP: 30Peck: 1000Yes, it was obviously fake. To be fair, it looked pretty legitimate: quality card stock, no obvious typos, clear printing. And we were 8 years old.Our minds were blown. This card was five times more powerful than Rayquaza; a single peck would obliterate any Pokémon in its path. Whoever owned it was the undisputed champion.Almost instantly, another boy traded his entire legitimate collection, including many Lv. X cards, for the godly Pidgey.I haven’t seen or heard about the card since. Maybe the new owner realized it was fake and threw it away. Or maybe he tricked another kid into trading his collection for it. For all I know, it could still be making rounds at an elementary school.Do you guys have any fake card stories?
