"Possible way of bringing "Training" back"
#PokemonGO: I kinda liked how back in the day you could "train" at your team's gyms, not the prestige aspect of the system but the whole "training" thing. It gave me another reason to visit my team's gyms since back then you couldn't spin them. With the gym system rework this feature was dropped, however I think it can be brought back (for those like me who want to complete their Ace Trainer badge too). In my opinion it would make sense if you could "train" at a gym your team already claimed, by fighting the occupants of the gym. Of course it wouldn't add "prestige" to the gym since this no longer exist, but it could potentially have other rewards, for example:It could be another action to increase the gym badge levelLike berries, it could be a way of slightly increasing the motivation of the Pokémon you fight in that gymCounts as progress towards your Ace Trainer badgeLittle XP/Stardust per Pokémon defeatedI don't see any harm on this being implemented, it also wouldn't shake the META at all or anything like that. It would even be a way to practice and see which Pokémon can attack better another type of Pokémon that is in the gym, since you can train as many times as you want (rather than the usual 3 times on a normal gym you're trying to beat down) and I can even see new research tasks asking you to "Train 3 times at a Gym".
