"The Celebi Quest is feeling a little anticlimactic"

#PokemonGO: Personally I have loved this summer in terms of the Pokémongo events! I think Niantic has done a great job by keeping players busy with event after event. However, the Celebi quest is a pretty anticlimactic way to end the summer.The rewards are pretty awful for anyone who frequently plays. An Eevee encounter, not once but twice is a horrible reward especially considering that we just had a TWO DAY community day and the fact that Eevee is a very common Pokémon. Also the evolutionary items. Because of the Jonto event it is already incredibly easy to attain these items and having them as rewards for the tasks is very unfulfilling.The people in Chicago got WAY more during their quest. And while I understand that that was a special event and that the rewards should be nerfed, this is a little extreme. I was expecting to at least see some of the cool Pokémon from Jonto added in for the rewards and possibly one of the regionals. I’m simply feeling a little disappointed that we have to complete tasks for useless rewards to eventually get a Pokémon that will essentially be just a Pokédex entry as it is not really usable in a battling or raiding sense. via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2BGisd6
