"Traded Pokemon can get +10/+10/+10 on both ends and be "unlucky""
#PokemonGO: [Reposted as new post, as the previous one had some issues with screenshots and imgur due to my inexperience]In the research of trades and "lucky" factor, some days ago somebody proposed that traded Pokemons become "Lucky" when both ends get a pokemon with each IV >=10. Original thread is here: https://ift.tt/2vtLgQq can disprove this theory, as yesterday I traded a low-IV XL Magikarp w/ my brother (Ultra friends, same carp from same spawn, seconds after catching it) and we both got a new carp with high IVs, all of them >=10, but they're not lucky (sad face). This would mean that the "Lucky" status (and IV floor of 10-10-10) is determined before the "normal" trading dynamic. If the trade is not lucky, then a normal reroll happens following RNG rules.IMGUR album with screenshots: https://ift.tt/2B1u627 are: carp w/ CalcyIV to show stats, carp w/o CalcyIV to check its height/weight, bottom of carp screen w/ trade status and date. I don't have any screenshot of the original carp, as I don't screenshot low-IV pokemons X'DThanks for all the precious feedback on the previous post, so that I could make a new and improved post. :) via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2Ogf8a0
