"Anyone else feel too old to be playing Pokémon go?"

#PokemonGO: Hey all. I’m 28 and grew up in the heart of the original Pokémon days. When Pokémon go came out 2 summers ago I was thrilled. The thrill was mainly fueled by nostalgia and the sense of community the game brought. Plus a lot of my friends were playing etc.Everyone kind of quit a few months after release(as did I).I started playing again this week out of boredom. I have a 10 week old baby so I don’t get to go out much. I decided to take up Pokémon go again so I can have something to do. I’ll take the baby on walks in a stroller while I meander around poke stops.I’m still pretty confused since the game is a lot different than I remember it. I also didn’t grow up with all these new generations of Pokémon so I’m not sure what’s inherently good or bad like I did with the first 151.I must admit, I feel kinda weird playing. I live in a very small town and All i see are kids playing Pokémon go. Probably 8-14 year olds. It seems like my generation quit playing. I’m not sure if I’m seeing a small sample size since I’m in such a small town or what. I just feel kindve awkward and uncomfortable if I put down a lure at a pokestop and a gaggle of children arrive staring at their phones.Am I thinking too hard about this? Does anyone else feel this way? via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2CjxF2x
