"'Device not supported' out of nowhere"

#PokemonGO: Did anyone else experience this recently? Never seen it before, running Android 9 on an OG Pixel XL. Running Calcy IV as you can see from the screenshot but everything else is stock Android.Here is the imageI know the message itself is nothing new, but I've certainly never had it before. I was gifting friends and went back into the map and it came from nowhere. Upon restarting the app I was asked to reselect an account to log in with but all seems fine now.
