"[Discussion] Can this game survive without events?"

#PokemonGO: It's been a long time since there hasn't been any events in the game. I'm worried that Niantic is overly relying on events to keep players interested in the game.Wanted to flair this a complaint but am also interested in hearing your thoughts.And where are they coming up with these event ideas? Psychic Event? Battle Showdown Event? Guaranteed Lucky Event? It's as though as if they're throwing darts in the dark and seeing what sticks.If there were events I would be willing to keep, they would be month-long legendaries and Community Days.
