"I was wrong about Pokémon Black."

I was late to the Pokémon game. I don’t remember why, but my Mum gave me a copy of Heartgold one day while my brother got Soulsilver. From that moment on I was hooked.Typhlosion followed me across Johto to Kanto (I hope I spelled them right. It’s been a while!) We fought sixteen gym leaders, we conquered the Pokémon league, and we fought Red atop Mt. Silver.Next my brother was given Diamond while I was given Pearl and we continued our adventure across the Sinnoh region. This time I chose Piplup for my adventure.I squeezed every last bit of fun I could out of Pearl. My brother had lost interest after Diamond so it was just me who received a copy of Platinum. I was ecstatic. Sinnoh was my favourite region and now I had so much more of it to discover. This time with Infernape at my side.When Black/White was announced I was beyond excited. A whole new region to discover! More Pokémon! More fun!But playing through the copy of Pokémon Black I received (my bro got White, but he never finished it.) something wasn’t quite right. This was different. The starter Pokémon were underwhelming, I didn’t like the Tepig I only selected because I had to.I put the game down as soon as I finished the main story. I don’t even remember my team & I make a point to remember my first team for each new game!The following year I picked up a copy of Pokémon White 2 (my bro had completely lost interest at this point.) and as I expected, didn’t enjoy it. Once more, I put it on the shelf as soon as I finished the story. I wondered if it was just that Unova wasn’t the region for me, or maybe I had gotten sick of Pokémon?Fast forward to now, I recently finished my 2nd playthrough of PKMN Sun (have yet to grab Ultra Sun/Moon.) and decided to go through all my games again. Sadly, I no longer own any of the Sinnoh games (a real shame! I really would like to play those games again. Especially Platinum!)So I started w/ Black.And I’m having sooo much fun!With Snivy I have rediscovered the Unova region and I love it!
