"Just caught my first Tyranitar today. Our group defeated it with 3 seconds left on the clock, and 4% battery life left on my phone. I just wanted to say a little thank you to all of you in the community who helped me out and gave me advice as to how to work my way up to beating him."

#PokemonGO: https://ift.tt/2xRInua had my fighting party of 3 Machamps, Heracross (terrible idea in retrospect considering its severe weakness to Rock moves) and a 2780CP Rhydon and took on Tyranitar. I waited in the busiest part of campus for the clock to countdown, hoping and praying my phone wouldn’t die on me, since I started the raid at 6%. We were able to take him down and two golden razz later, he was all mine. I just wanted to say thank you to those of you that gave me advice on how to work my way up to this point. I started laying Pokémon go for the first time on the Eevee community day. But to get to T-Tar I started out by farming those Espeon’s, and thanks to the Kanto event, I was able to catch and Pinup those Abra’s like crazy in order to get Alakazam. I used them in a raid last week and took down my first Machamp in a raid, I also evolved two Machops into Machamps all in the span of 6 or 7 days. I finally felt ready to take on Tyranitar, saw there was 2 other people in the lobby, and joined, barely beating him.I have Bite and Crunch, IV 82Attack: 12Defense: 11Stamina: 14Anyways, I appreciate y’all and wanted to just say thanks for all the help along the way. via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2zK72lM
