"Less Animation, Please"

#PokemonGO: I love the game, but I really think we could do less with animations in general. Whether it's the defeated gym, or new counter, or evolving (especially that one). After two years of playing, I can't help but think of all that animation time aggregated into one giant waste of time. :)​Edit: To be more specific, since some seem to think I am advocating a total riddance of ALL animations and/or graphics...
