"My first shiny ever, 10 year old jigglypuff - is now gone..."

In 2006 on Pokemon Ruby version I had caught my first shiny ever before I even knew what shinies were. It was a lvl 24 shiny Jigglypuff with a modest nature that I had caught in the bird sanctuary (don't remember what route, it just had lots of bird pokemon). I thought it was a glitch at first but I caught it anyways.Today I just decided to go on my Pokemon Ranch to reminisce and to my surprise my Jigglypuff was there. I guess I transferred it long ago and forgot about it. This guy is 10+ years old. This is important to me because my Pokemon Ruby game which was my first pokemon game ever was stolen from me by some scumbag, and jigglypuff had already been transferred to my sapphire game by that point - but it was the only memory I had left. I then decided to transfer him to pearl so that I can then use poke transfer lab to black/white 2 then finally transfer him to pokebank to put in to Pokemon Ultra MoonAnd then the worst thing happened. My game got corrupted. The Pokemon pearl data got deleted RIGHT AFTER the trade. I've been sitting here for 20 minutes turning it on and off hoping my data will come back. But I think it's gone for good...My 10 year old legit shiny jigglypuff is now gone =( why did this have to happen right now? I'm a 22 year old now so I'll get over it, but it's just annoying to think that after all these years of not knowing what happened to my jigglypuff I finally found it but this stupid corruption did it in for good. via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/2q0wM7J
