"Our most active player ragequit!"

#PokemonGO: Hello. We are one smally community of 10 active players who really like to play pogo and spend our time on the game. Some of us like to collect them all (Shiny,lucky etc). Some just care about IVs and some just play it for fun. Anyways, there was this person who really liked the game and was really spending lots of time on the game. He wanted to get all the shinys possible, collect all 100Ivs and he had the most exp in the group despite the fact that he started playing 1 year late. He was such a hardcore player... (he was playing the game whenever he had the chance early in the morning, late night, Lunch-break etc. (Never spoofed was 100% legit btw) We knew it was not healthy for him, we told him to relax a little it is just a game and so on but he never listened. He was always very energetic and ambitious about the game all the time. He used to say this is the Best Game Ever!!! which did inspire us but the game was affecting his social life in a negative way. He is married and recently learned he will be a father. Recently with the gen 4 update and the new shiny mons he started grinding again searching for shinys. He spent so much time looking for them but he could not find one. Then someone posted a shiny drifloom to the group and I don't really know what happened suddenly but he got mad. He said I am done with this game and transferred all his 100iv maxed out pokemons sending videos to the group. He then thanked everyone and quit the group. He also shared his login info too. Now he is thinking of deleting his account. After all that grinding and time spent. All the memories we shared. Only 1 second and puffff. All happened too sudden we could not stop him. People in our group say it was the best choice for him afterall. He could not control himself even he admitted that he was badly addicted and this was the only way. We really like the guy, he is such a nice guy. I do understand he did this for his family and himself too. But I can not deny that I am really let down and heart broken. I really wish there was another way. He really did bring lots of fun, challenges and inspiration to the group. He almost joined every raid battle and shared the most raid timers and stuff... Anyways it is what it is afterall. It is his life after all. We have no option rather than respecting his decision. I just wanted to share my story and thanks for reading. Remember, it is just a game afterall. Life is all about balance. Know your limits. Everything will come to an end one day.
