"Pokémon Gen 8 should bring console-grade sound to the series"

Nintendo Switch's 4x ARM Cortex A57 CPUs are much, much more powerful than the CPU in the 3DS, and Switch cartridges have a lot more capacity. Fully orchestrated soundtracks and high fidelity sound effects are a no-brainer.And it's not like the developers don't have the resources to do that stuff. They could literally just pull the soundtrack from the TV show for use in the games. Hell, while they're at it they could use the sound files from the TV show for each Pokemon to say its name the way it does in the TV show.It's something that'd be remarkably easy for them to do, but have a profound impact on the perceived quality of the game. via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/2R2j4wl
