#PokemonGO: Hi Everyone-First, a link to the article:https://ift.tt/2ze2KBy received some idea of what the stat rework would look like earlier this month, so I decided to simulate matchups that I was familiar with. I also watched/studied videos of raids that took place during the brief rebalance periods, and i feel very comfortable with GoBattleSim’s accuracy.These raids stuck out (Ttar, Cuno, Marowak, Claydol, Machamp, Tangela), but the pattern was clear over and over again. Raids are MUCH easier after the rebalance is applied.We are seeing two major changes:1) Lower DEF Stat for most bosses makes them take a bit more damage2) Higher number of HPs for attacking mon (especially those on the glassy end) allow them to live much longer. Note that bosses have fixed HP so this boost has no impact for them.The net effect? Much easier raids. To those who raid legendaries in 15 person groups, this will likely not be noticed. However, soloists & trainers doing speed or unique challenges will see a significant change. New things are possible, past challenges will be easier if not laughable, and formats like 6 Unique or PokeDraft will look very different than what we have today.Please note, this assumes no other changes to battle mechanics aside from the new DEF & HP formulas.
