#PokemonGO: Title basically says it all. If PvP ends up being a 6v6 tap fest it could still be interesting just because of the excitement of not knowing what you’ll be fighting against, and then trying to create balanced teams and diverse movesets to defeat the widest range of possible teams. It think the new “hidden meta” could still be fun, even with the current simple combat mechanics. I think this alone would breathe a lot of life into the combat.I think they’re still have to be limits on team composition for it to work though, like only 1 legendary per team, no duplicate species, a max # of a certain type, etc etc to avoid “Uber” teams like 6 dragons/legemdaries.Another idea would be to have a pre-battle draft where each player can alternate choosing 2 or 3 types to exclude from the upcoming battle.
