"Theory about the returned stacks"

#PokemonGO: I was one of the people that had their stacks returned. At first I was sure this stack was not mine, but I think I have figured something out.Back when I still stacked my pokemon I took a screenshot of every mon that I placed in my stack, to keep track of what I had. So when my stack was deleted I knew exactly what was missing. I kept the screenshots of those deleted mon in a seperate file. (I was trying to get through them when it was deleted, I had about 500 pokemon lost)Now that my stack is back, I have been slowly going through my returned stack. At first I thought none of these pokemon were mine. All pokemon seemed to have the same IV (like it has been mentioned by others before). In my case all are 80% (14/10/12). And none of them matched the pokemon from the screenshots of my losts stack. I dreaded having to catch all of these low IV pokemon that werent even mine. But thought it would best to get rid of them anyway. Then I started to slowly encounter pokemon with different IV’s inbetween all the 80% mon. This got me interested. After a while I caught an Absol. This one also had a different IV. I knew I only had two absols in my lost stack. So it would be easy to see if they matched either of those two. And it did, it had the exact CP of one of the two screenshots. After catching 200 pokemon from my stack (getting low on pokeballs) I have come accross 8 pokemon worth keeping. (storage is also a problem). I have compared these 8 with my screenshots and have managed to find 7 of them. The 8th is a sunhat pikachu that might have been stacked during the period with the bug where pokemon were sent straight to the stack. (that would explain the lack of screentshot for that)So maybe we did get OUR stacks back. It just came allong with a whole bunch of others. I think that they might have send us back everything that we ever claimed or ever stacked. My theory is that Niantic had meant to send us all the pokemon we ever claimed/stacked, in a way where the pokemon that we already had caught before would be taken out. But something went wrong and the previous caught pokemon did come allong and all had fixed IV’s.I took screenshots of everything I caught from my returned stack. If I ever manage to get through this stack I can maybe compare them with my lost stack to see if everything is there. (Might take a while though, I fear of the amount of extra mon that came allong with it) via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2ygCUfI
