#PokemonGO: So they showed a trailer for Gen 4, and a stat rebalance was announced to come along with it, and also they revealed other stuff.Right at the end of the trailer, we can see Giratina’s eyes.Some of you may not know, but Giratina has two forms, the Altered form and the Origin form.Both of the forms have their Attack and Defense switched around. (206 and 247)The Altered form is defensive, while the Origin form is offensive.As Pokemon Go’s current formula favors the Attack stat, the Origin form has higher CP.Origin breaks 4000 CP, but Altered does not.Seeing as the 9% nerf has only applied to +4000 CP Pokemon so far, Niantic would nerf the Origin form and maintain the Altered form as is, that is, if they hadn’t decided to change the stat formula.I suppose Niantic wants to make them as equal as possible to not have to nerf only one of the two forms, and then release Giratina in time for Halloween with whatever they decide to handle its form differences.But that is JUST A THEORY!
