For me it’s Gen 4. I started with Platinum, but both Sinnoh and Johto have a ton of problems.Sinnoh: Bad speed (Platinum helped this), Unhealthy fetish with HMs, and Awful Regional DexJohto: Pathetic evil team. Many Johto Pokémon are either locked behind trading or post game.
