"Pokémon on Dual Screens: The End of an Era [Article]"

https://medium.com/super-jump/pokémon-on-dual-screens-the-end-of-an-era-cc99eea927f2Hello everyone - I'm not sure whether or not this post is allowed (I double-checked the rules, so I believe it is) - but please correct me if I'm wrong.I just wanted to share an article recently published by Akhil Dakinedi (https://twitter.com/a_kill_), who is a game UI/UX designer. He's written a piece that basically explores the UI and interaction design around the Pokémon titles that appeared on DS/3DS. In particular, there's an exploration here around the impact of dual screens and the way the games' design evolved around that technology. There are obviously a ton of articles written all the time about the franchise, especially the upcoming film and the Let's Go games on Switch. But I think this is a unique angle that doesn't seem to be heavily explored. via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/2zbWRpr
