"Would you like to see another generation like Unova again?"

Reminiscent of Unova as in having no Pokémon from previous generations in its regional Pokédex. Unova pulled this off well in my opinion because of the various homages to/reimaginings of Generation 1 designs (psychic tapirs, 3-stage tadpoles except this one looks like a loudspeaker, elemental equid, 3-stage fighting type line, martial arts duo), so it’s familiar despite lacking returning Pokémon.Side note, I like the distinctive theme the early-game route Pokémon were going for (reflective safety vests, construction workers, ingrates that pick fights) and I don’t think we’ll ever see anything like it again for a while. via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/2B2ysUp
