"Adding admins for @SilphRoad ..... Could not find Silph Road account for this user"

#PokemonGO: Hi, I have recently been made an admin at my local discord and I am trying to get things going with setting up tournaments. Unfortunately when i try putting in the command to add myself as a tournament admin, a message stating "Could not find Silph Road account for this user". My silph road traveller card is linked with my discord yet i still get this message. Im not sure what needs to be done so my TSR account is properly linked to my discord account?
