"Seriously, I really hope they have a character creator in Gen 8"

Let us design our trainer however we want. Size, hair, clothes, accessories, etc. The multiple character designs were a great start but this just seems like it should have been an option long before now.I remember Black and White (or bw2) would let you pick your character portrait for the online play, so.....
