#PokemonGO: Getting ready to leave the office Friday at 4:30. Boss comes to our team and asks to speak to me. Someone in senior management can’t attend an important business trip this weekend/upcoming week. Tells me he needs me to go to NYC (work in LA, just transferred from OK office). Plane leaves at 8 am the following day. Can’t say no but had plans with a girl Saturday and family Sunday.Fly to NY, go to hotel, few hours to kill before conference at 8 pm EST. Leave bags with concierge and ask what tourist spots are in the area. He recommends Central Park.Game changer.Go there and pick jaw up off floor after seeing how many stops and guns there are. Do several raids because every lobby gets players. Guy I meet and I hit it off, go get dinner spontaneously. Invites me over after my work conference.Go to a swanky Manhattan apartment at 11 pm, have the night of my life.
