"Why hasn’t Australia got a major event yet?"

#PokemonGO: As the title says, I’m pretty unhappy with the fact that Australia is still yet to get an event (and yes I understand that Niantic is an American company), here’s a few stats for people that aren’t sure why Australia needs a major event, as of the Germany Safari zone, Australia was sitting at number 4 on the chart of all the top paying countries in the world, behind Japan, USA and Germany (because of the safari zone) and yet all of these countries so far have had at least 1 major event, with Japan and America having multiple, so where’s the event for the fourth (as of the Germany safari zone) best paying county? via /r/pokemongo http://bit.ly/2PVbIdp
