"Damage Multiplier Rebalance Part 2: Soloing Tier 4 Raids [GamePress]"

#PokemonGO: ICYMI: Part 1Part 2 link.Yesterday I posted about the SE damage multiplier increase that hit when PvP was released and what it does for the raid meta. Plenty of people (myself included) were pretty disappointed because of the impact this change had on Tier 3 raids. Tier 3 solos used to be a challenge, but with power creep and two recent updates making everything easier, it's not really the same. Even PokeDraft will probably require some rule changes to keep things interesting.Enter Tier 4 raids. The premise is the same, and for the most part, these matchups are comparable to some of the tougher Tier 3 raids "back in the day." Some are even more interesting, since the bosses are doing more damage in Tier 4 and so you often need to do some dodging to keep your team up. For the most part, the bosses with exploitable double weaknesses are the ones that can be solo'd, and as always, GamePress will have more in-depth guides for each boss as they return to raid battles (we already have them for Absol and Shiftry).Absol and Tyranitar can be punched to deathRhydon and Golem can be splashed to death (Grass-types can take down Rhydon, too)Shiftry can be... bugged to death? There are actually a few ways to solo Shiftry, some harder than others, but this might be the first time Bug-types have ever been the best at anything without a weather boost.If Charizard, Alolan Exeggutor, Moltres, Rayquaza (maybe?), or Shuckle come back, they can be solo'd, too.Weather boost is needed for most of these matchups.When the pogoraids speed raid record book returns (which will actually happen eventually, I promise!) it will look a lot different with these various Tier 4 solo possibilities. People have already completed various unique 6 type challenges against Shiftry and Rhydon.
