"OPR (how Pokestops and gyms are added) got a huge update. Now more folks are reviewing."

#PokemonGO: Haven’t seen this posted but Ingress’ OPR got a much needed update. Now reviewers can push one of their pending submissions to the head of the line whenever they reach 100 agreements. Agreements are if their vote was the same as the final outcome on any submission they reviewed, so they gradually come in as people do OPR and reviewed the same thing they did. This highly encourages folks to do OPR (including myself), as some of us have been waiting 8-10 months of even much longer on submissions. I personally have received more emails about my submissions in the past 24 hours than I did the past 10 months. So I wanted to post this here so A) folks know why there may be a lot more new pokestops on Monday when Portal Sync Happens, B) if you abandoned OPR because you weren’t getting your own submissions accepted (or rejected), now is a fantastic time to return and see results, and C) this may mean that world wide pokestop submissions could be coming sometime this year, as there is now an incentive to review, so the backlog is getting tackled. If you’re level 10 in Ingress, might be worth considering getting to 12 so you can have those submissions come in much faster if they aren’t coming in quickly now. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://bit.ly/2QMTYBq
