"Right out of the ballpark, Niantic! This event was fantastic"

#PokemonGO: So I just got back from three hours of wandering around my university campus in the bright sun. The weather was perfect, but even better was the 45 pokestops I spun, and 44 quests I completed (I binned a single "supereffective move" quest) I have a stack of Clamperl waiting for me to open them in a moment. But that's not all folks! The water type spawns were fantastic. Multiple final form starters, enough piplup that you could almost have called it a piplup CD alone, kingler, wishcash, horsea etc. I even found a 90+ IV Vaporeon! But that's not the biggest deal. There were so many Feebas around too. It almost felt like Niantic was apologising for the last research day. And that is not a bad thing. I unfortunately didn't get a shiny, despite checking pretty much every pokemon, but I kinda wore out my luck last week (I'm still raving about two shiny Luvdisc during the Valentines event within 18 hours of each other! Ahh!)In the same two hours, I also went for 3 different Latias raids, bagging a 93%! That's right, by 12PM, I was done with everything. I spent the last hour of the event wandering around, enjoying the sun, chatting with community members and bagging some fun spawns. From super light testing, it feels Gorebyss is weighting higher in the evolution chance than Huntail, but YMMV.So Niantic, I absolutely loved this event. The spawns were right, the quests were right, the weather was right (not that you can control that) - this may actually be better than a Community Day, because the quests give you something to do... via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2U43oe7
