"Which region/generation would you say has the hardest Elite Four and Champion battle and why?"

I'm pretty sure Gen 4, more specifically Diamond and Pearl, will be no-brainers in this regard, especially considering that Cynthia is still, to this day, one of the hardest trainers to fight against in the series, in a game that already had a pretty difficult Elite Four.Honestly, tho, for the first female champion in the series, Cynthia definitely made a hell of an impact.
