"24 Unique Pokemon Rayquaza Duo (Partly Cloudy)"
#PokemonGO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sfqr4xRq1lcWhen my friend and I heard that Rayquaza was coming back this weekend, the idea of an all-unique-Pokémon duo immediately popped into our minds. Looking at what we already had and what we could power, we compared it to the list of Pokémon that both made and just-barely-didn't-make Time To Win (600 s) against Rayquaza on Pokebattler, then divided the list among ourselves. Both of us spent a little less than 700k Stardust to fill what we lacked (for example, I had a 40'ed Lapras and more willingness to power a Regice, while he had a 40'ed Alolan Ninetales and a Lucky Palkia), and we ordered our teams so that my first team was frailer than his, letting me rejoin with a bulkier team before he would faint out.The set we faced was Dragon Tail/Aerial Ace, which was the second-easiest possible set for us (Air Slash/Aerial Ace being the first). Partly Cloudy weather favored our attempt the most, since it allowed Rhyperior and Golem to just barely make time rather than relying on their teammates to race ahead of the clock, and we were lucky enough to have that the first hour of Rayquaza raids (which is when this was recorded). We initially attempted a Dragon Tail/Outrage set; it hit us harder than we had planned for, and we just barely fainted out twice, with the rejoin nullifying the unique-Pokémon attempt. Against DT/AA we didn't even each need our full twelve; we finished it off while my Togekiss and his Rhyperior were on their last legs, with 38 seconds left on the clock.Overall, this was a ton of fun, and a very enjoyable chance to look into Pokémon that normally I would pass over for their stats even if I enjoy their appearance. You can find the full list of what was used below, in order of planned appearance. There are Pokémon we could have used (I discovered I my perfect Starmie has Hidden Power Ice which allows it to make pace, for example, as does Mew if you're willing to let TMs flow like water), but we only had so many spots we could fill and wanted to be wise with our Stardust use too. I would gladly do this again, as would my partner, I think. Hopefully seeing how easily it can be duoed with an "extreme handicap," as a friend who was there put it later, others will be less afraid to go in smaller groups for greater glory and rewards. If you read this far, thank you for your interest, and we love you too. Happy raiding! If you want to see the other end of this raid, here's a link to my raid partner's recording: https://youtu.be/za-w1vUg0C0My TeamIVsLevelMovesTorvald's TeamIVsLevelMovesWeavile15/15/1539Ice Shard/AvalancheMamoswine15/15/1540Powder Snow/AvalancheMewtwo15/15/1540Psycho Cut/Ice BeamPiloswine15/15/1540Powder Snow/AvalancheRayquaza15/15/1540Dragon Tail/OutrageCloyster15/15/1537.5Frost Breath/AvalancheWalrein15/15/1535Frost Breath/BlizzardArticuno15/15/1540Frost Breath/Ice BeamLapras15/14/1440Frost Breath/Ice BeamDialga15/15/1440Dragon Breath/Draco MeteorGlalie15/15/1539Frost Breath/AvalanchePalkia15/12/1540Dragon Tail/Draco MeteorDragonite15/15/1540Dragon Tail/OutrageLatios15/13/1440Dragon Breath/Dragon ClawRegice15/13/1536.5Frost Breath/BlizzardJynx15/12/1436Frost Breath/AvalancheTyranitar15/15/1540Smack Down/Stone EdgeRhyperior15/15/1240Smack Down/Stone EdgeTogekiss14/15/1438Hidden Power (Dragon)/Dazzling GleamAlolan Ninetales15/15/1540Powder Snow/Ice BeamGardevoir15/15/1540Confusion/Dazzling GleamAbomasnow15/15/1533Powder Snow/BlizzardGolem15/15/1540Rock Throw/Stone EdgeSalamence15/14/1040Dragon Tail/Draco Meteor via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2Jh26vp
