"European shiny rate in lotad's event."

#PokemonGO: I'm in Europe, we were 4 people playing in today's event, farming for 2 hours in the morning and another 2 in the afternoon. We did around 80 quests each and we only got 4 shiny lotads in total. All the people we encountered said the same, 2 per person at most if they were really lucky, many people ended the event without a shiny lotad. To me it seemed like a slightly better shiny rate than the one in the feebas event, about 1 in 40. Reading other post it seems like Europe got the bad deal again like in the feebas event. Can anyone from other parts of the world confirm?PD: We did get a insane amount of castform shiny, so much that to us it was more like a castform event rather a lotad one.​EDIT: Reading your comments it seems like the downgrade was global and the rate was something like 1 in 40 for everybody.
