"Ash Hat Pikachu Guide"

#PokemonGO: Howdy folks, I created the below guide for my girlfriend and her brother to get Ash Hat Pikachu today and figured I'd share, as I didn't find any good guides online.· Open your pokemon storage box· Select any small pokemon (I use pikachu)· Press the camera icon in the top right· If prompted to enable AR +, do so· Point your camera toward the floor about 5 feet from you and slowly pan across the floor until you see yellow footsteps appear· Tap your screen anywhere you see yellow footsteps· Press the camera button at the bottom center of your screen up to 10 times, paying careful attention to the picture taken as it briefly appears on your screen. If you see Pikachu (or Ash), press the exit button in the top right to go to photo review. If you get a photobomb within the 10 pictures, stop taking pictures and go to the review. You can not get more than 1 photobomb in a single set of 10. Never take more than 10 pictures at once, as the photo review screen can only hold 10 pictures. If you did not get a Pikachu photobomb (you should have one once every other picture set, roughly), start the process over.· Once you are in the photo review screen, scroll to the picture where Pikachu photobombed. The picture should “bounce” on the screen – after that, press x at the bottom to return to your normal PoGo map view (where your character is walking around). After a few seconds, you will see a Pikachu with a hat spawn on your map. Tap him and catch him (he does have a shiny chance). Rinse and repeat (note that you can only encounter 5 Ash Hat Pikachu in a day, and it is currently unknown how many days this event will last, though current speculation is 1 week). That this process also works for catching Smeargle if you do not have one yet, though he does not have a shiny so there is little point to catching more than 1.Happy hunting :) via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2HRUvSi
