"Had an idea for Buddy Pokemon"

#PokemonGO: So, the buddy system is cool and all, and it's nice being able to get candies without needing to make additional captures (the rates should be tweaked a good bit imo, but that's neither here nor there) but what if it was something more?​Why not give ust the choice between having your buddy sweat out those candies, or, have a special ability they give the trainer? For doggos, why not let them 'fetch' and return missed tosses after a capture attempt (this would be for whiffs and such, but a 'break free' wouldn't apply), for shuckle, let us give it a berry that it turns into a berry juice after so much distance, and if it's holding a berry juice at the next 'processing' km distance, it turns that berry juice into a rare candy (so like, say, 1 rare candy ever 10-20km) and the berry juice can be used to heal your mons, similar to a potion (which would make Nanab berries useful outside of gym fodder finally), with eeveelutions they could boost your catching power like a razz berry without using the razz berry, with bugs they could reduce flee chance on mons/movement of them (due to string shot and such) or cat buddies increasing stardust gains/pokestop items (as they are lucky) etc.​Heck, even add in a 'trust' gate for using mons for this. Gain trust by walking with them as your budy, keeping them for extended times, winning battles with them, loose trust by putting them in gyms, letting them faint, not giving them enough walkies​Anyway, it's just a thought I think would be nice via /r/pokemongo http://bit.ly/2WOxzHk
