"March 19th Gift Egg Rarity Changes (Silph Research Group)"

#PokemonGO: I've seen about a dozen posts in the last two weeks reporting anecdotally higher hatch rates of rare baby Pokemon, so I thought I'd put a few numbers to this. The Silph Research Group saw a small but substantial change to Gift egg pool rarities around the start of the Equinox Event that has persisted after the event. Here are the hatch rates of several baby Pokemon of interest. Total of about 5,200 eggs from our hard-working researchers.SpeciesEnd of Valentine's to start of Equinox EventSince the start of Equinox EventMantyke37/3552 = 1.0%60/1651 = 3.6%Bonsly28/3552 = 0.8%73/1651 = 4.4%Riolu26/3552 = 0.7%20/1651 = 1.2%Munchlax139/3552 = 3.9%81/1651 = 4.9%Happiny110/3552 = 3.1%65/1651 = 3.9%Chingling23/3552 = 0.6%23/1651 = 1.4%Mantyke and Bonsly are both very much statistically significant changes (as they are what alerted us to the shift initially).
