"[MEGATHREAD] Pokemon GO Summer Events 2019! Three GO Fests, Community Days, and Silph Road Meetup details"

#PokemonGO: We have all been waiting for April 4th after Niantic released this teaser video and the day has come! This post will be updated for the next few hours as we compile the details and inform you all of our plans for what is shaping up to be a fantastic Pokemon GO Summer season!The biggest news today is not one, but three Pokemon GO Fests! Building off the success of last years Safari Zones and Chicago GO Fest, Niantic seems to be bringing more GO Fests to more locations. This is a fantastic move. The dates for the three GO Fests and their locations are:June 13–16: Pokémon GO Fest ChicagoJuly 4–7: Pokémon GO Fest Dortmund2019 Summer: Pokémon GO Fest Asia (To be announced)In addition to GO Fest announcement we have the dates of the upcoming Community Days during this Summer timeline:May 19June 8July 21August 3GO Fest ChicagoDetails are available on the PokemonGOLive Events page. This seems to mimic much of what we saw last year. Price of admission is $25, ticket sales have not been announced yet, and instead of a two day event it's now four days. Hopefully with the increase in days available booking for hotels, and securing a ticket will be less hectic than last years.GO Fest DortmundReturning to Dortmund, but this time as a GO Fest event will be a splendid adventure. Last years event had hiccups but overall was a success as a Safari Zone. Much like this years Chicago GO Fest, the 4 day running time means more people a chance to attend. There are no details on if and how much tickets will be, we expect those details will be available later this month.GO Fest AsiaNot a lot of details to share, much like last years Safari Zone. It being several months out from now I'm sure more details will emerge as we grow closer to August.Silph Road MeetupsMuch like we have over the past two years - the Silph Road team will be planning meetups, after parties, and and smaller events to give everyone on the road a chance to meet in person, trade, hang out, and maybe even battle!
