"Slaking will be broken if it gets a fast move (or maybe not)"

#PokemonGO: Now that Slaking has been confirmed as the next Pokemon to get a community day, it's time to see how good it could be with any possible Fast Move currently available in game.TL;DR not exactly game breaking.Playing about with Gamepress DPS/TDO tool we can add fast moves to Slaking current move pool.http://bit.ly/2K0opV0 has an issue at this point, it either gets STAB or SE, as normal is SE vs no type and is resisted by ghost, Rock and steel, technically its best move set for raw damage would be Scratch/Hyper Beam, would not be it's best usable move set. It's best set of possible fast moves with existing Charge moves is Counter/Play Rough. Which make it useful against pure dark types like Darkrai and.... well not much else, as anything else like Tyranitar has a double weakness to fighting.http://bit.ly/2JxD0b3 a look at simulations for Darkrai, it would be the best counter to Shadow Ball Darkrai, with roughly with the same DPS as Machamp or Breloom, and gains a double resistance to Shadow Ball, giving it 2.5 times the TDO of Machamp, this is purely against Shadow Ball and has much lower TDO against any other move set.So although this gives Slaking one niche use. I think the lack of STAB and SE or any real synergy with moves, would not really give slaking use that is not already being filled by the very useful Machamp, which any long time player should have at least a team of. Forgot to mention that Slaking has a 9% nerf like any other Pokemon over 3000 which knocks it's attack down even further.Just in case you were curious where it falls against each type against single type Pokemon looking at best DPS moveset for each type.Bug 20th best with Smack down/Hyper beam,Dark 3rd best with Counter/Play RoughDragon 14th with Scratch/Play RoughElectric 7th best, behind Nidoking, with Scratch/Earth Quake (Earthquake is such a bad move)Fairy 35th Best with Scratch/Hyper BeamFighting 11th Best with Scratch/Play Rough (it's TDO would be lower here)Fire 11th Best with Smack Down/Earth QuakeFlying 22nd Best with Smack Down/Hyper BeamGhost 25th Best with Shadow Claw/Dazzling Gleam (Losing it's STAB here, but gains hefty TDO)Grass 66th Best with Scratch/Hyper BeamGround 70th Best with Scratch/Hyper BeamIce 26th Best with Smack Down/Hyper BeamNormal 9th Best with Counter/Hyper BeamPoison 20th Best with Scratch/EarthquakePsychic 19th Best with Shadow Claw/Hyper BeamRock 16th Best with Counter/Earthquake (even with double SE move set Earthquake is just bad)Steel 13th Best with Counter/EarthquakeWater 51st Best with Scratch/Hyper BeamBasically any where it gets SE it can put its self in the top 30, but only once gets in the top 10.For any one interested Shadow Claw or Counter could be amazing for Master league, as they would be counters to Dialga or Girtatina with DPS nearly 50% higher then any other counter. I believe it's attack is far too high to make it useful in any other league.Edit: I never stop editing, although I tend to add stuff not take anything away. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://bit.ly/2Whko54
